When you think of Thanksgiving prep, it’s usually chopping veggies and thawing the turkey, right? But it’s so much more than that. To us, Thanksgiving prep means setting yourself up for success, and it boils down to three simple things:
- Get your workout in early, and include the whole family! Our Butterball Buster class is back by popular demand in the studio, and if you’re out of town, stream your workout from anywhere.
- Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of Thanksgiving. Even if the big “dinner” is at 2:00 in the afternoon, a solid base will keep you from over-eating when the turkey touches down on the table. There’s no better way to set your day’s foundation than with an HSM smoothie, so pick some up in the studio today in preparation!
- Enjoy, don’t deny yourself. Thanksgiving is the most important meal of the year; it’s our chance to break bread with our loved ones, so enjoy yourself! Once you’ve had your workout in the morning, it’s totally ok to have that piece of your mama’s pecan pie. Have that cookie, and yes, you better put gravy on your turkey.
