Challenge your body and burn more calories by upping the ante on the amount of weight you are lifting in class. You will not only feel the difference but see fat-burning results much faster.

We spend the first 20 minutes of class focusing on the upper body and core. Don’t cheat yourself by going light on the hand weights or bands. If your muscles aren’t burning halfway through the set, you aren’t maximizing your time for a lean physique. If you’ve been doing 8 lbs for a while pick up an extra set of 10’s and give it a shot. If you’ve been cruising along with 6lbs, it is most definitely time to step it up to 8s. Have your lighter set nearby for when you’ve reached your limit. You may just surprise yourself by losing inches even in your thighs, hips and waist that you thought would never budge.
