HILLIARD STUDIO METHOD

As a Division I Cross Country & Track athlete for Davidson College, I firmly believe that Hillard Studio Method provides the best strengthening, lengthening, and toning workout to supplement any cardio routine! 

Throughout my three months interning at Christie’s in New York City last summer, I made it a point to try as many barre, pilates, HIIT, strength, etc. classes as possible.  I found myself constantly comparing each workout to HSM and always left a bit deflated that the boutique classes frequently paled in comparison to this beloved Charlotte studio.  Despite the quantity and variety of fitness classes in New York, which one would think would exist at the cutting-edge of fitness developments, I found that the Hilliard Studio Method far exceeds the NYC options in terms of the degree of full-body workout and level of challenge.  While the

HSM’s unique amalgamation of heavy and light weights, plank variations, barre, and mat work always evades monotony by allowing for endless combinations for a comprehensive toning, strengthening, and lengthening workout.  Furthermore, HSM represents more than a mere venue to get a workout in, but feels more like a family.  From my very first class, Lee Kennelly kindly approached me to introduce herself and then proceeded to yell my name and words of encouragement throughout the class! The family-like atmosphere and intentionality of the instructors to get to know the people in their class further reinforces how HSM is singular in their approach! I am deeply grateful for Hilliard Studio Method!
