Abbie centers her mission on inspiring others and helping clients and friends enhance their physical and spiritual fitness, confidence and self image. Drawing from her endless well of positive energy and extensive training and experience across multiple disciplines in the fitness industry, she is passionate about having a positive impact on the life of others and inspiring them. Abbie is elated to continue her fitness career with Hilliard Studio Method. Abbie will push you to your limits and provide a challenging class all while smiling and possibly singing a tune or two.
A West Virginia native, Abbie grew up playing any sport that piqued her interest including basketball, volleyball and track. She went on to play collegiate volleyball at Elon university and also joined Twisted Measure, Elon’s a cappella group, to fulfill her love of music and singing. After graduating, she moved to Charlotte in 2002 and worked in advertising, pharmaceutical and medical sales. Abbie quickly realized that something was missing in her life and started her journey as a fitness instructor in 2014 teaching cycle and barre. During the pandemic, Abbie launched her own website to continue to help others stay active while at home, teaching cycle, barre fusion and strength class. She missed the interaction and community of a studio and is thrilled to be a part of the HSM family.
When Abbie isn’t motivating others and hanging out at the studio, she is spending time with her husband Will, her 4 year old Knox and her 7 month old Kye. She also has two fur babies, Leo, a Frenchie and Ohana, a lively mixed breed.
